Seismic Resistance was born from the belief that silence in the face of tyranny is complicity.

After the 2024 election, eight longtime activists in Seminole County, Florida—concerned citizens with deep roots in the fight for democracy—came together. United by outrage over the lies, divisive rhetoric, and dangerous Executive Orders of the Trump administration, they recognized a growing threat: not just to policies, but to the very foundation of American democracy.

What began as a local circle of resistance has grown into a bold and defiant movement, aimed at exposing the rot beneath false patriotism and dismantling corrupt leadership wherever it takes root.

We are especially alarmed by Project 2025—a sweeping, extremist plan that aims to dismantle federal oversight in education, environmental protection, aviation, public health, and the military. This blueprint for authoritarianism threatens to replace democracy with a privatized, Christian nationalist regime designed to favor the wealthy and silence dissent.
