We are in for some really good economic times.

Scratch that. What I meant to say is that we are in for some really good economic times being reported. They won’t actually be happening and it won’t feel like the economy or prices are good, but the statistics are going to be Incredible.

Actually, that’s actually true. Because incredible technically means “not credible.” And that is what future government statistics will be.

In case you missed it, Trump fired the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday. Why, you might ask? Did she get caught committing fraud? Was she named on the Epstein’ Island list? Did she allow faulty data to be released?

No. None of the above. She released the data that accurately showed slowing jobs growth. But anything that contradicts Trump’s delusions whether they are of the biggest military parade or the hottest economy or an overwhelming mandate cannot be tolerated under an authoritarian regime. So, things magically disappear from the Smithsonian Museum, data is substantially tweaked to support Trump’s claims whatever they may be, and people get fired, sued or defunded left and right for reporting accurate data and accurate news. (You might’ve seen that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is closing down.)

We’ve lost all credibility worldwide. And now we’re losing all credibility domestically. If it’s news that makes Trump look good, he swears that it’s accurate. And he claims credit for it. If it’s news that doesn’t make Trump look good, he lies about it being false and points fingers of blame at whoever he can. So, at this point I don’t believe a damn thing Trump says nor what anyone around him says. And neither should you. I believe what I see with my own eyes and this is far from a great economy.

Do you think anyone is going to be willing to publish truthful jobs reports if they don’t make Trump look good in the future just to be rewarded for their accuracy with termination? Can’t believe we’re stuck with this dishonest idiot for the indefinite future.
